Maine Wedding at The Westin Portland Harborview Hotel

We were with Amelia and Habib for their Maine Wedding at The Westin Portland Harborview Hotel. Portland is such a charming coastal city, with it’s famous Old Port, restaurants, Eastern Promenade, and Back Cove, there is a lot to enjoy about this city. The Westin is situated right in the center of it all, with room for any size wedding and accommodations for hundreds of guests.

Amelia and Habib had attended the wedding of her brother the previous year in Down East Maine, and were really impressed with our work. You can view that Lubec, Maine Oceanside wedding here.

We started the day with Amelia and Habib for some getting ready photos, followed by a first look on the top floor of The Westin at Top of the East. This restaurant and bar has sweeping views of downtown Portland and its waterfront. We then moved onto the wedding party and family formal photos, and a few portraits of the bride and groom. The ceremony was held inside The Westin in The Longfellow Room, with Amelia and Habib surrounded by family and friends. We then moved onto some special photos across town at the Eastern Promenade. The reception was held in the spacious Eastland Grand Ballroom & Balcony right inside The Westin.

This was a really fun wedding to photograph, with family and friends from around the globe participating, dressed in cultural attire along with traditional dances and drums. It was a great celebration and we were so thankful to be a part of their big day!
